I could never afford my lifestyle 💸
The secret to how I have a so much more than I could ever pay for.
I could never afford my lifestyle.
It’s true.
If I had to pay full price for everything I’ve done, there is no way I’d have been able to afford… well; most of it. Thank god I learned a secret from my mom.
“Zach, What’s your mom’s secret?” Simple. She taught me to share.
So I share. And because I share, my friends share back with me. My entire life is made up of people who share what they have, when they have it, with people who reciprocate. These people are pure magic. They come in such different forms and have incredibly unique things to share. Some share their homes, others their stories, some their cooking, their music or their cars. Really fun friends share their secret spots, their discount codes, their back doors, gate codes or underground hook ups. How about that guy who shares those dope playlists eh?
Doing most things alone kinda sucks. Big house? Alone? Kinda freaky no?
How does all this sharing work?
The Sharing Principles to Having More
Belief - You must share first to start
Non-Attachment - You mustn’t expect anything in return
Gratitude - You must be grateful… every time, all the time
Kindness - You must be kind. Be the person people want to share with.
Impermanence - Nothing is yours to keep. We’re all headed to the same place
Trust - The more you share, the more you get back.
Cyclical - Rinse and repeat as desired
Thats it.
Sharing is one of the most powerful acts we engage in as humans because sharing is a force multiplier. No matter what you have - a lot or a little - when you share, you have more. 🤯
What’s the worst thing you can say about someone? “They are selfish.” That means that they are a keeper, a non-sharer. They break the above cycle.
So do it. Share something tomorrow.
It is quite literally the first thing we teach our kids when they begin to interact with others. It is THAT important. I think we’ve heard it so much, for so long that we kind of tune it out. “Yeah yeah, I get it, but this is mine…” Ouf. Kills the magic.
Be cool. Be someone who shares. Make friends with people who share and add a ton of value to your life and to their life.
I’m looking for of magic people, people who share. I started MyPlace to help these magic people, those who understand that together, when we share, we all have more.
What is the most impactful thing anyone has ever shared with you?
